Amber’s love of storytelling began when she was gifted a notebook with blue pages for her sixth birthday. She filled it with short stories and drawings, asked for another, and the rest is history.

Now, Amber uses writing, animation, and illustration to explore reality through the lens of science fiction and occasionally fantasy. Her work focuses largely on her religious upbringing and departure, feminism, and environmentalism. In 2023, Amber graduated with her Bachelor’s in Fine Art from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and she is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s in Nursing. She lives in Washington State with her partner and their dogs, cats, and ball python.
